FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup Event - 2014

The world's best freestyle skiers come together this winter for the 2014 FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup at Deer Valley Resort in a qualifying event for the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games. To start the event off, a concert on main street in downtown Park City was held featuring Big Head Todd and the Monsters along with opening band Junior & Transportation.

A full compliment of our L-Acoustics loudspeakers were used on the show to deliver pristine audio quality to the performers and audience members. On stage the monitor system was compromised of 6 mixes of L-Acoustics 12XT monitors powered by a single LA-8 Rack. To cover the audience we flew 11 Kara enclosures per side along with 4 8XT's for front-fills and a 6 box hang of Kiva Loudspeakers for delay purposes about 150' up main street. To satisfy the low end needs we stacked a total of 6 SB28 subwoofers on the ground. All enclosures were powered by LA-8's with the exception being the Kiva delays which were powered by an LA-4 amplified controller.

The event was a huge success with no glitches and was a great way for us to start our live productions for 2014! Both bands put on a fantastic show and kept the audience on their feet well into the night.
